The MPA is a non-profit organization that works closely with the Administration to help provide the best possible services for these most vulnerable individuals. All proceeds from any fundraising activities are used to purchase items for the individuals who reside at Murray Center, to repair items at the center, and to pay for outings and recreational activities for the residents. No member of the Board of Directors, nor the officers of Murray Parents' Association are paid for their services. All members volunteer their time, and services. No one is reimbursed for travel expenses.
As well as purchasing items for the individuals the MPA is very active in advocating at the state and federal level for quality care for the disabled, not only those living at Murray Center, but for those living throughout the state and also country. We advocate for safe, quality care for all the disabled.
